Our Story
Andrea’s journey to Roslyn began when she was just three months old, moving here with her mom to join family roots deeply embedded in this special town. Her aunt opened the iconic Roslyn Café in 1977, and Andrea’s mom played a pivotal role in running the beloved local gathering spot. Growing up surrounded by the vibrant food and beverage culture, Andrea’s passion for hospitality was kindled early.
After graduating from the Art Institute with a degree in design, Andrea returned to Roslyn to manage the café, building on her family’s legacy while exploring her own creative vision. But it was her travels through Europe that truly shaped her dreams. In Italy, Spain, and France, Andrea immersed herself in the rich history of winemaking, captivated by how wine brings people together across cultures and generations.
At a crossroads in life, Andrea planned to move to Colorado but fate had other ideas. She met the love of her life, another Roslyn local, and decided to stay. Together, they’ve built a life in this beautiful community, raising their two children and cherishing the values of connection and family.
In July 2019, Andrea opened Corks with a vision: to create a space where people can come together, strengthen the bonds of community, and share her deep love for wine. Corks is more than a wine shop; it’s a place to celebrate life, friendship, and the stories that connect us all.
Welcome to Corks. We’re so glad you’re here.
